Chottani, Swarovski and Lenzing Collab Prove There’s Little Denim Can’t Do

When masterminds like Chottani, Lenzing and Swarovski combine forces, the result is sure to be mesmerizing. These industry leaders are set to debut a new collection, dubbed “Mesmerize” at Denim Premiere Vision in London Dec. 5th-6th, highlighting denim’s versatility and range—and certainly upping the couture factor. “’Mesmerize’ takes a totally different perspective on denim and its usual definitions,” Chottani marketing director Aamir Chottani, said in a joint statement. “This beautiful collection takes denim to the luxury level and away from the vintage themes where the fabric is traditionally anchored. It is truly denim haute couture.”

Who’s Using TENCEL™ x REFIBRA™ in Denim?

Since the launch of TENCEL™ Lyocell with REFIBRA™ technology in February 2017, brands have been keen to embrace the first man-made cellulosic fiber featuring recycled material on a commercial scale. It’s a fiber which embraces circularity, since the REFIBRA™ technology involves upcycling cotton scraps from the garment production process and wood pulp sourced from certified sustainable forestry. REFIBRA™ technology brings also a solution forward for supply chain transparency as the TENCEL™ fiber contains identification material inherently.
