If any brand could take waste and make it look cool, it’s probably G-Star RAW. The latest innovation installation from the Dutch designer clothing company is a partnership with color solutions and chemicals company Archroma – dyeing denim with dyestuffs made from recycled plants and nutshells.

ISKO has taken denim awards to the web. The Turkish denim manufacturing recently held the fourth edition of its ISKO I-SKOOL Denim Design Digital Prize, a project aimed at uncovering creativity and innovation in young talent. As part of the award the company set up a “virtual panel” comprised of ISKO-ISKOOL’s 53,000 plus Facebook followers who got to pick the winners.
